As the last wedding of my 2024 season, this one truly ended with a bang! From the stunning autumn colors that perfectly complemented the natural Swiss landscape to the warmth and charm of the barn venue at Golf de Payerne, everything about this wedding felt like a fairytale come to life. And while the setting was straight out of a dream, it was the love and connection between the couple, along with the unforgettable details of the day, and the team that made it possible, that made it truly magical

Autumn Magic at Golf de Payerne

When you think of a classic autumn wedding, what comes to mind? Vibrant fall foliage, crisp air, and golden sunsets? This celebration had all of that, with a little extra Swiss charm sprinkled in. The venue, Golf de Payerne, provided the perfect backdrop for this beautiful day. Nestled among rolling hills and offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, it was a photographer's dream. The trees surrounding the venue were in full autumn bloom, their rich reds, oranges, and yellows setting the perfect tone for the day.

As the couple exchanged vows in the cozy barn, the soft glow of the chandeliers illuminating the space in an intimate and magical way. The space was thoughtfully decorated, by Sassy Wedding, with autumnal florals, by Flore et Sens, and rustic touches that felt both elegant and effortless. Every detail, from the ceremony to the reception, exuded warmth, making it feel like the perfect celebration of love during the most picturesque time of year.

The Party at a Charming Rural Gîte

After an incredible dinner, the celebration continued at a nearby rural gîte, where the real fun began. Picture this: a cozy, rustic venue, fairy lights twinkling overhead, and a lively crowd of family and friends dancing to an unforgettable playlist. There was no shortage of joy, and it was clear from the moment the music started that this was a party to remember.

The energy in the room was contagious—everyone was smiling, laughing, and celebrating the love between the couple. Of course, no wedding in Switzerland is complete without the perfect drink pairings. The apéro was a highlight, with guests mingling and enjoying local wines and bites of the custom cheese board where there names were written in cheese!

What would a Swiss wedding be without some incredible food? The couple’s choice of chasse fondue chinoise—a traditional Swiss dish—was the perfect way to bring their guests together for a delicious, interactive experience.
